Drawing from her extensive background in healthcare and patient care advancement, La'Kita has seamlessly transitioned into the world of fashion and entrepreneurship. As a proud woman- and minority-owned business based in the vibrant state of North Carolina, she created Live Eazy Wear in response to personal challenges she faced after multiple pregnancies. Her experience led her to reimagine clothing that offered both comfort and contour — without the need for expensive procedures like a “Mommy Makeover.”

Instead, she developed a unique line of garments engineered to flatter and support the ever-changing body — whether young or mature. Every Live Eazy Wear piece is thoughtfully designed to help women feel feminine, sexy, and above all — empowered.

La'Kita's foundation in leadership and empowerment began with her proud membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, where she was initiated on March 29, 2009 as a charter member of the Tau Beta Chapter at Queens University of Charlotte. Her involvement in AKA instilled lifelong values of sisterhood, service, and leadership, which she continues to embody as a philanthropist and community advocate.

La'Kita has served through local food banks, churches, outreach programs, and charitable initiatives. She has also contributed financially and met with North Carolina State House and Senate representatives to advocate for legislative change — a testament to her dedication to service and empowerment beyond business.
